The handbrake push rod with part number 4-121 transmits the force of the handbrake lever to the brake mechanism of the BMW Isetta’s rear axle and is identical in construction to the right-hand handbrake lever of the BMW 600. During restoration, bearings and joints should be inspected for wear and corrosion, and the electroplated corrosion protection should be maintained to ensure consistent and reliable parking brake performance.
