This 10-piece brake shoe set (Part No. 4-1159) for the BMW Isetta rear axle includes one left and one right brake shoe half with new linings, pressure plates, springs, pressure and brake levers, as well as mounting hardware, thus forming a complete, original BMW new-parts system from 1961. For restoration purposes, the set enables a complete and technically sound rebuild of the rear drum brake, reliably eliminating typical age-related issues such as worn linings, fatigued springs, and worn lever points. Careful installation and adjustment restore the original braking performance and operational safety of the BMW Isetta.
