The 13.0 mm exhaust valve guide (part number B7-02-0470) ensures precise guidance of the thermally stressed exhaust valve in the BMW 700 engine and reliable heat dissipation to the cylinder head. During an engine overhaul or restoration, worn exhaust valve guides should be replaced with this new part and, after press-fitting, ground to the correct valve clearance to prevent oil consumption, smoke emission, and loss of power in the historic BMW 700.
