Bei der Restauration sollte das gebrauchte, ungeprüfte Teil auf Korrosion, Verzug und ausgeschlagene Befestigungspunkte kontrolliert und bei Bedarf nachgerichtet oder ersetzt werden. So wird ein sauber schließender und klapperfreier Heckdeckel gewährleistet.
