The 69.44 mm oversize piston (Part No. 1-0495) from Mahle/Nüral/Kolbenschmitt is intended for reconditioned BMW Isetta engines with cylinders bored to oversize. After grinding out worn piston rings, it restores proper compression and smooth running and reduces typical problems such as oil consumption and piston knock. During engine restoration, the piston size, cylinder bore, and piston clearance must be precisely matched to prevent damage and premature wear.
