The original FAG groove seal for 22.2 mm wheel brake cylinders (Part No. B7-06-0752) seals the pistons in the wheel brake cylinder of the BMW 700 and protects the cylinder bore from dirt and moisture. During a brake restoration, it replaces hardened or cracked original sleeves, thereby restoring the seals and smooth operation of the pistons. It is important to ensure clean installation and to use brake fluid-resistant installation aids.
