The used B7-05-501 transmission for the BMW 700 is offered untested and in “as-removed” condition with a left-hand clutch release lever and serves as the basis for a complete transmission overhaul. To ensure reliable operation in the restored vehicle, all gears, bearings, synchronizer rings, and seals should be inspected and replaced as necessary. Due to the unknown condition, a complete overhaul is recommended before installation in the BMW 700.
