The B7-04-039 fuel pump upper assembly for the BMW 700 is designed for a single-carburetor system and contains all the necessary valves to control fuel flow in the mechanical pump. During restoration, this upper housing replaces worn valve components, restores the correct delivery pressure, and improves the engine’s starting performance and smoothness. This allows the original fuel pump to be reused while restoring its function to that of a brand-new component.
