The Pertinax insulating flange B7-03-1050, with a 58 mm hole spacing and a 34.5 mm bore, is designed for the BMW 700 carburetor and is available in several thicknesses (8, 11, 12 mm). It serves to thermally decouple the carburetor from the engine and to adjust the installation height, which is particularly important during restorations and carburetor conversions. Replace brittle, cracked, or warped original flanges to reliably prevent air leaks, vapor lock, and associated running problems.
