Der Federteller (Ø 33,30/13,20 mm, Dicke 5,2 mm, Art.-Nr. B7-02-0679) dient im BMW 700 Motor zur flachen, kraftschlüssigen Auflage und Führung einer Ventil- oder Steuerfeder. Bei einer Restauration sollten verschlissene oder korrodierte Federteller durch maßhaltige Neuteile ersetzt werden, um eine gleichmäßige Federkraft und einen ruhigen Ventiltrieb zu gewährleisten. Die spezielle Innenbohrung von 13,20 mm ist für die korrekte Passung an der jeweiligen Aufnahme entscheidend.
