The valve guide B7-02-0460, with an outer diameter of 13.0 mm, guides the intake valve in the BMW 700 cylinder head without play and ensures a smooth valve stroke as well as good heat dissipation. During a cylinder head overhaul, worn guides should be replaced and then lapped to the correct valve stem clearance. This reliably eliminates compression losses, increased oil consumption, and leaks in the valve train of the BMW 700.
