The used air guide, upper left B7-01-0946, for the BMW 700 LS and LSL+C is functionally equivalent to parts B7-01-094 and B7-01-0945, respectively, and ensures targeted cooling air flow to the upper cylinder head. Before use in a restoration, the air deflector should be thoroughly reconditioned, de-rusted, and reshaped to prevent leaks in the airflow. Only a tight-fitting and precisely matched air duct ensures the original cooling performance of the BMW 700 engine.
