Der linke Zylinderkopf mit 4-Loch Befestigung und Rohrstutzen (Art.-Nr. B7-01-04120) bildet beim BMW 700 Motor den oberen Abschluss des Zylinders und übernimmt die Gaswechselsteuerung über die Ventile. Im Rahmen einer Motorüberholung sollten Dichtflächen, Ventiltrieb und die Gewinde der 4-Loch Verschraubung sorgfältig instandgesetzt werden, um Kompression und Dichtheit dauerhaft zu gewährleisten.
