Ein Räderkastendeckel verschließt das Gehäuse des Steuertriebs bzw. der Zahnräder am Motor, schützt die innenliegenden Komponenten vor Schmutz und Ölverlust und ermöglicht über das Entlüftungsrohr den Druckausgleich im Kurbelgehäuse.

Der Räderkastendeckel B7-01-0220 mit Entlüftungsrohr nach oben verschließt beim BMW 700 den Räderkasten des Motors und stellt gleichzeitig die Kurbelgehäuseentlüftung sicher. Für eine fachgerechte Restauration sollten Dichtflächen, Gewinde und das Entlüftungsrohr auf Verzug, Risse und Ablagerungen geprüft und mit einer neuen Dichtung montiert werden. So bleibt der Motor des BMW 700 dicht, sauber entlüftet und originalgetreu erhalten.
