Das Metallprofil B6-07-1715 schließt den Bereich zwischen Seitentür und feststehender Seitenscheibe hinten rechts am BMW 600 und dient als tragendes und dichtendes Karosserieelement. Als von Hand gefertigtes, passgenaues Nachbauteil ersetzt es korrodierte oder verzogene Originalprofile und ermöglicht die Wiederherstellung korrekter Spaltmaße und Dichtflächen. Im Rahmen der Restauration sollte es in Verbindung mit der Türjustierung und neuen Dichtungen montiert werden, um Windgeräusche und Wassereintritt dauerhaft zu vermeiden.
