The B6-07-1702 mounting rail is a raw profile for the front right window guide rail on the BMW 600 and is used to hold and guide the window in the body. Since the profile is delivered semi-finished, it must be individually milled, adjusted, and deburred by the restorer to compensate for manufacturing tolerances in the body and ensure tension-free mounting of the window. Especially when repairing warped or corroded original strips, this profile enables a technically precise and true-to-original reconstruction of the window surround.
