The B6-05-138 wire serves as the inner cable in the starter cable assembly of the BMW 600 and transmits the action from the choke lever to the cold start mechanism of the carburetor. During restoration, this allows a corroded or broken original inner cable to be specifically replaced while reusing the existing cable sheath. This restores the choke’s function faithfully to the original and in a cost-effective manner.
