Die Hülse (Art.-Nr. B6-05-050) führt und zentriert im BMW 600 die Vielzahnwelle und die zugehörigen Lenkungsgelenke und schützt die Verzahnung vor Verschleiß. Bei der Restauration sollte die korrekte Längenvariante gewählt und die Hülse auf Einlaufspuren und Korrosion geprüft werden, um Spiel im Lenkstrang zu vermeiden und die originale Lenkcharakteristik zu erhalten.
