The brake carrier B6-04-1286 is the rear right brake anchor plate of the BMW 600 and supports the wheel brake cylinder, brake shoes, and springs of the drum brake. During restoration, corrosion damage, worn contact surfaces, and warped areas should be carefully inspected and, if necessary, straightened or reworked. Only an intact and correctly mounted anchor plate ensures uniform braking performance and proper, original-specification function of the rear axle.
