This right-side exhaust pipe from the 1st generation (Part No. B6-02-0965), featuring triangular flanges on both ends, connects the engine to the heater in the BMW 600 carburetor and corresponds to the early version without an additional bracket. During restoration, care must be taken to ensure tension-free installation, intact flange surfaces, and corrosion protection, as these early pipes are otherwise prone to cracking and leaks in the exhaust and heating systems.
