This left exhaust pipe (Part No. B6-02-095) connects the engine to the heater on the BMW 600 carburetor and features a triangular flange on the engine side as well as a mounting bracket for the heater. For a professional restoration, corrosion damage, cracks in flanges and brackets, and the flatness of the sealing surfaces must be carefully inspected and, if necessary, straightened or rewelded. Only a tight and properly supported pipe ensures safe exhaust routing and reliable heating performance without exhaust odors in the passenger compartment.
