This used carburetor cover with screen assembly (Part No. B6-02-086) seals the top of the BMW 600 carburetor and simultaneously filters the fuel before it enters the jets. To ensure reliable operation in a restored vehicle, the screen and sealing surfaces should be carefully cleaned, inspected for damage, and reconditioned if necessary.
