Der Wellendichtring B6-01-009 (52 x 72 x 10Si) dichtet rotierende Wellen im BMW 600 Motor zuverlässig gegen Ölverlust ab und ist dank Silikonmaterial und Linksdrall-Profil für hohe thermische und mechanische Belastungen ausgelegt. Bei einer Restauration sollten verhärtete oder rissige Alt-Dichtringe konsequent durch dieses nach Herstellervorgaben gefertigte Ersatzteil ersetzt werden. Saubere Dichtflächen und korrekte Einbaurichtung sind entscheidend für eine dauerhafte Öl- und Schmutzabdichtung.
