The main switch with part number 7-03600 is used in the BMW Isetta as a disconnect switch in the main power line and allows the vehicle’s electrical system to be completely shut down. Especially in restored classic cars, such a switch protects against unnoticed leakage currents and battery discharge, and reduces the risk of cable fires. It also enhances theft protection, as no power is supplied without the main switch being engaged.
