The oval mounting plate for the BMW Isetta’s interior rail (Part No. 6-9051) serves as a stable mounting surface for attaching classic car participant badges using mounting brackets, without having to drill into the body. It prevents warping and rattling of the badge while simultaneously protecting the surfaces of both the rail and the badge. During restoration, we recommend using corrosion-resistant fasteners and ensuring tension-free installation on the interior rail.
