The sliding window trim 6-09350 for the BMW Isetta guides and seals the side sliding window vertically between the fixed and movable windows, with the U-profile and the weatherstrip reducing wind noise and water ingress. However, due to a manufacturing defect, the sealing lip is incorrectly glued in place, so the trim, as a B-grade item, offers only limited sealing effectiveness. For restorations on a limited budget, it can nevertheless serve as a functional, if not perfect, solution for replacing worn-out original trims.
