The chrome nut 6-083 with countersunk screw (also B6-07-184) is used for the secure and visually appealing fastening of visible attachments to the BMW Isetta body. As part of a restoration, rusted or damaged original nuts should be replaced with new, chrome-plated fasteners to restore both the stability of the screw connection and the original appearance. Proper tightening and, if necessary, the use of rubber washers protect the paint and the body panel from damage.
