The used brake carrier 4-1005 is a rear brake anchor plate for the BMW Isetta, which serves as the base for the drum brake and supports the wheel brake cylinder and brake shoes. Since the part is delivered uninspected as removed, a careful visual inspection for corrosion, warping, and worn-out holes is essential during restoration. Only after possible reconditioning is the brake carrier suitable for safe reinstallation on the rear axle.
