The control arm 4-024 (short, 58 mm bolt pattern) is used on the BMW Isetta rear axle to provide a force-fit connection and precise guidance of the axle relative to the body. During restoration, bent or worn-out control arms must be replaced, as they significantly impair tracking and driving stability. Careful installation with intact mounting points restores the original suspension geometry.
