The used original BMW steering shaft 3-1055 connects the steering wheel to the steering gear in the BMW Isetta and, in its unmodified condition, is ideal as a basis for professional reconditioning. During restoration, this original part allows the factory geometry and fit to be maintained; however, it should be thoroughly inspected for corrosion, cracks, and warping before reinstallation. This allows typical problems such as increased steering play or material fatigue to be identified and resolved early on.
