Seal 4-010 is installed between the drive housing and the cover of the BMW Isetta rear axle and ensures an oil- and dirt-tight connection between these housing components. Especially during restoration, brittle or crushed old seals should be consistently replaced to prevent oil leaks and consequential damage to the rear axle transmission. A clean sealing surface and proper tightening of the screws are essential for a durable seal.
