Die Lenkspindel 3-0867 mit nummerngleicher Spindelhülse für die BMW Isetta bildet zusammen mit Lenkgehäusedeckel und Lenkstockhebel eine komplette Lenkeinheit der Vorderachse. Sie lagert die Lenkwelle im Gehäuse und überträgt die Lenkradbewegung spielfrei auf das Lenkgestänge, weshalb Lagerflächen, Pendelkugellager und die Verbindung zum Lenkstockhebel bei einer Restauration unbedingt auf Verschleiß und Korrosion zu prüfen sind. Die vorhandene, passende Spindelhülse erleichtert die Wiederherstellung des korrekten Lagerspiels und der originalen Lenkcharakteristik.
