The unmachined B7-01-0431 cylinder, measuring 78.00 mm with a 6-hole design, serves as a blank for the BMW 700 engine and is brought to the desired final dimensions only through grinding and honing. This allows the cylinder to be precisely matched to the appropriate pistons and piston rings and enables worn original parts to be completely replaced during a restoration.
