The adjusting screw with part number 4-111 is used on the front axle of the BMW Isetta for precise adjustment of play and preload in the steering and axle mechanisms. During restoration, corroded or damaged adjusting screws are problematic because they prevent exact adjustment and can lead to steering play. A new, dimensionally accurate set of screws enables the correct adjustment of the front axle and contributes significantly to driving safety.
