The original BMW Hardy disc screw 4-070 with a flat head and SW14 is designed for the correct attachment of the Hardy disc to the rear axle of the BMW Isetta and prevents overloading or crushing of the rubber disc. During restoration, this special bolt should be used instead of any standard bolts and installed with the specified torque to prevent cracks, imbalance, and premature wear of the Hardy disc.
