The intake valve guide with a base dimension of 13 mm (Part No. 1-0591) is used in the BMW Isetta engine to precisely guide the valve stem in the cylinder head and restore the correct valve clearance. During an engine or cylinder head overhaul, a worn-in or worn-out valve guide should always be replaced to prevent compression loss, increased oil consumption, and valve noise. The version with a retaining ring facilitates secure fastening in the head and ensures a durable, restoration-appropriate solution.
