The cylinder 1-0550 for the 250 cc BMW Isetta export engine is a used, unsorted part with bore diameters ranging from 68 to 69.5 mm and narrow cooling fins, intended for a complete overhaul. Depending on the condition of wear, the cylinder must be honed, ground, or fitted with a new liner to restore a smooth running surface for the piston. For a professional restoration of the BMW Isetta engine, the tappet tubes must also be inspected and, if necessary, supplemented or replaced.
