Die 1125 mm lange Griffleiste B7-15-049 für die Heckklappe der BMW 700 Limousine (LS, LSL) und des Cabrios dient als Handgriff und prägnantes Zierelement der Heckpartie. Im Rahmen einer Restauration sollte die durch jahrzehntelange Lagerung gezeichnete Leiste auf Korrosion, Verzug und Oberflächenschäden geprüft und bei Bedarf gerichtet sowie neu verchromt werden. So lässt sich die originale Optik und Funktion der Heckklappe zuverlässig wiederherstellen.
