The main jet 140 (Part No. B7-03-048) determines the fuel flow rate in the main system of the BMW 700 carburetor and thus the mixture under partial and full load. During a restoration, a worn or modified jet should always be replaced with a correctly calibrated replacement part to restore the original engine characteristics and operational reliability.
