Bei der Restauration eines BMW 700 empfiehlt sich der Einsatz dieser originalen Sport-Steuerwelle, sofern Nocken und Lagerstellen verschleißfrei sind und die übrige Ventiltriebperipherie (Kipphebel, Stößel, Federn) entsprechend überholt wird.
