The B7-02-028 sliding disc in the vibration damper of the BMW 600 engine forms a low-wear sliding surface between the moving damper parts and ensures a defined coefficient of friction. During repair or restoration, the sliding disc should be carefully inspected for possible scratches, running-in marks, or signs of overheating and, if necessary, replaced with this original equipment component.
