The crank shaft has been generally overhauled in a precision shop/ specialized company for BMW crank shafts. If necessary, the bearing seats were set to increased measure by industrial hard chrome plating, followed by grinding to nominal dimension. All bearings including the connecting rod were replaced by original BMW new parts.

Sie ist ideal für Restaurierungen, bei denen der originale Kurbeltrieb erhalten, aber technisch auf Neuzustand gebracht werden soll, um Laufruhe und Haltbarkeit des Motors sicherzustellen.
