The B6-07-162 rubber seal is the original rubber frame for the windshield of the BMW 600 and ensures a tension-free, tight fit of the windshield in the body frame. As part of a restoration, it replaces brittle or cracked old rubber seals, prevents water ingress, and thus protects the windshield frame from corrosion. Careful installation with clean sealing surfaces is crucial for permanently tight and secure glazing.
