The threaded plate B6-07-1606 is the fastening element for the lower door hinge of the BMW 600 and ensures a secure screw connection and load distribution in the body. During a restoration, it replaces worn or corroded original parts, which often lead to sagging doors and poor gap dimensions. With a new threaded plate, the door geometry can be precisely adjusted again and kept permanently stable.
