The B6-06-020 piston rod for the master brake cylinder in the BMW 600 transmits pedal force directly to the brake piston via the M10 thread, making it a central component of the brake actuation system. During restorations, piston rods are frequently inspected for straightness, thread quality, and corrosion, as deformations or damage can impair braking performance. This inspected, used part enables a restoration of the brake system faithful to the original, using components from ATE, FTE, or FAG.
