The used joint piece B6-05-047 with a multi-tooth hub is used in the BMW 600 to provide a positive-lock connection between the steering column and subsequent steering components, transmitting steering torque without play. During restoration, the teeth should be carefully inspected for wear, corrosion, and deformation, as excessive play can lead to imprecise steering and noise. Only a properly fitting and technically sound joint can restore the vehicle’s original steering precision.
