The B6-04-1470 pair of brake linings in OEM quality for the BMW 600 provides the friction layer for the drum brake and is riveted onto the brake shoes using the 18 rivets included. For a professional restoration, old, hardened, or glazed linings should be completely removed, the shoes cleaned and inspected, and then the new brand-name linings riveted on evenly and without tension. This reliably restores the original braking performance and controllability of the BMW 600 drum brake.
