The brake anchor plate B6-04-1280 for the rear left serves as the load-bearing brake carrier for the drum brake on the BMW 600 and houses all relevant brake components. As part of a restoration, it is important to remove corrosion, wear at the contact points, and any warping, and to equip the plate with reconditioned brake shoes and an intact wheel brake cylinder. This restores the brake system of the left rear axle to reliable operation and true to the original.
