The rear shock absorber B6-04-099 (also 4-0750 for the 3-wheel Isetta) dampens spring movements on the rear axle, thereby stabilizing handling and comfort in the BMW 600 and Isetta. As part of a restoration, worn or leaking original shock absorbers should be systematically replaced with functional replacement parts and installed without tension using new rubber mounts to restore the original road holding.
