This left exhaust pipe (Part No. B6-02-09515) connects the engine of the BMW 600 with carburetor to the heater via a triangular flange and a 2-hole flange, and channels the exhaust gases for use in heating. Due to corrosion and thermal stress, such pipes are often cracked or poorly repaired, which is why this used part is particularly suitable as a template for a custom-fit replacement during restoration.
